The ENKORE Cluster held its Annual Meeting on 9 September 2025 at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research in Leipzig. Partners met in a hybrid format to review scientific progress, strengthen collaboration across the five Working Groups and align the cluster’s strategy for the coming year.
The meeting opened with a welcome from the European Commission, followed by an overview of the cluster’s strategic direction and short presentations from each participating project. Partners and members of the Independent Advisory Panel (IAP) introduced themselves in a tour de table.
Each Working Group presented updates on objectives, completed activities and planned next steps:
• WG1 Science Translation for Policy and Practice
Led by MERLON, the session focused on strengthening links between research outcomes and regulatory practice.
• WG2 Data Analysis, Management and Protection
Contributions from EDC MASLD and HYPIEND highlighted shared needs related to data harmonisation and secure data management.
• WG3 Communication and Dissemination
ENDOMIX reported on outreach efforts and proposed next steps for coordinated cluster-level communication.
• WG4 Adverse Outcome Pathways
HYPIEND and EDC MASLD presented ongoing AOP-related work and discussed opportunities for alignment.
• WG5 Innovative Technologies: Validation and Regulatory Applications
ENDOMIX and NEMESIS provided insights on emerging research tools and validation requirements.
The afternoon discussion centred on shaping a future scientific strategy for the cluster and identifying additional opportunities for joint work. Followed by a feedback session.
The meeting concluded with agreement on key follow-up actions to accelerate ENKORE’s collaborative work on endocrine disruption research.
