NEMESIS for You is Now Live

The NEMESIS project has recently launched NEMESIS for You, a new multilingual platform offering the general public accessible, science-based information on endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) and their effects on health and the environment.

Visit the platform: NEMESIS for You ↗

EDCs are substances found in the environment, food and everyday consumer products. They can interfere with the body’s hormonal system and affect processes such as energy use, blood sugar regulation and fat storage.

NEMESIS for You translates scientific knowledge into clear and practical information for the public. The platform explains what EDCs are, how exposure can occur in everyday life and why some groups may be particularly vulnerable. It also provides practical guidance on reducing unnecessary exposure through informed, manageable choices.

Visitors can explore information on:

  • What EDCs are and how exposure happens in daily life
  • Who is most vulnerable — including pregnant women, infants and young children, and people with long-term metabolic or cardiovascular conditions
  • Simple everyday steps to reduce exposure, from choosing fresh or unpackaged food to airing out the home and reading product labels
  • How public policy can help protect health across the EU and beyond

To keep up with the latest content, follow the NEMSIS for you social media channels for weekly updates and visit the blog for new articles published every month.
